Some gospel songs, classical music, Louis Armstrong, some chinese songs, and mainly songs that have meaning to it, that you can actually understand the words and it has a good story to it. Sometimes I go all shhhhh with Eminem, he has his moments.

Hi, I just got a new iPod and I'm wondering what songs to put on it. My family listens only to classical music so I don't know many other types of songs. I like classical (especially very contemporary), jazz, gospel, ethnic (Indian, Chinese, etc.), contemporary (just not really bad pop like High School Musical), etc. I also don't like really hard metal rock or anything. I love songs with great, meaningful lyrics, sad songs, and songs that aren't too repetitive (they have interesting, varied harmonies and rhythms). I like artists with interesting voices. Your suggestions for artists, albums, or specific songs would be much appreciated! Whoever gives me the most songs that I plan to put on my iPod will get best answer. Thanks!
