help with binkys?

okay my daughter is 3 and i cant get the binky away from her, ive tryed to put holes in them, she just wont give them up.

I dont let her bring them out in public but when bed time hits she needs it. I dont even think she sucks it i think she holds it and like sqeezes it. Any suggestions

take all of them from the house and THROW them away. when she asks for it tell her that the binky fairy came and took them away, but she left you a present in the place of them.get her a small present and wrap it up then hold it out to her and say your a big girl now so you have a choice i can call the binky fairy and have her bring it back or you can have this fun present.she will probably say present.but before i give it to you i want you to know that once you open this the binkies are gone forever do you want the big girl present?she will probably say yes and then let her have it. she will more then likly play with it for a while and then tire from it before BED TIME DUNDUNDUN! so heres what to do. at bed time she will probably ask for binky and then you say this.okay remember you chose that fun toy over the binky. binky fairy took your binky and gave it to a very sad baby that needed it.your a big girl now and dont need binky you have ( whatever toy you got her) .then leave the room and NO matter what dont give into her when she cries because she will.!!!this will probably go on for a week or more but soon she will forget binky.remeber the binky fairy DOES NOT give refunds!!lol. i really do hope i helped. her teeth are developing and night time is the worst time for her to have it.

One month old and binky question?

My son is 5 weeks old and is very attatched to his binky. He is on formula now, and ever since I brought him home from the hospital he HAS TO have the binky in his mouth to be content. I have tried to soothe him rock him to sleep so he doesn't have to rely on it to go to sleep., He wants it even when he's awake just to have in his mouth. The problem is it flies out of his mouth all the time. Does any other moms have this problem? He can't keep it in his mouth. He is using the newborn first years soothie binkys. I'm constantly having to put it back in 100 times a day and night. because he SCREAMS as soon as it comes out. And is happy when its back in. Any advice? I'm exhausted.

I did find that the binkies with a nub on the end don't fall out as easily as the soothies. My son so far likes every binky that he's given, but spits them out when he goes into a deep sleep and is easy to soothe without it as well. The only problem with my son is that he is soothed by the binky so I want him to use it (plus it reduces the risk of SIDS in the first 6 months as well as being good for their teeth as opposed to anything else they could suck on) and he doesn't have a really great hold on the binkies. He's 5 weeks old as well (will be 6 weeks this thursday) and he's already trying to grab and pull the binky towards him (he got one yesterday and was so excited, but couldn't get it in his mouth...) and will try to hold the binky in his mouth so it won't fall out sometimes.

What I do remember being told though is that they have to learn how to use the binky. It's not as natural to keep it in their mouth. So the first few weeks you try to pull the binky away from them rather than put it in their mouth, tugging at it until they get a good latch and play tug-o-war sort of with you. It helps them figure out what muscles to use.

Something to keep in mind though is that if they continually spit it out, they don't want it. Yeah, they may take it and calm, but in reality they need something else. With my son, if he spits out the binky continually then he's hungry. He's starting to inch his way to needing 5oz of formula now every 2-3 hours (normally he has needed 4oz.) Last night I gave him his usual 4oz and he wouldn't take the binky for more than a few minutes before spitting it out. I made him another 2 oz and he ate that. He wasn't starving, but he wasn't comfortably full yet.

I love this question - I am in a big mood to chat about my bunny.

People may say I should not do this and I do not do it often - but I love when my bunny steals my food. It is soo funny and cute. He is such a little food begger. I like Fennel and so does he. So I will walk into his room with a piece of fennel - and I know I am going to give him a piece and I will sit on the floor munching it and he will run over and will stand on his hind legs begging for a piece. If I ignore him he will yank on the end which I deliberately leave a long stalk slightly broken dangling down so he can take a piece. He will run away so quick - and hide across the room munching on his stolen piece. I let my bunny do this and I know it is bad manners but it is so stinking cute to watch. My bunny has tunnels I made and he sits at the end of one - it had 3 separate ways to exit but if I put my head at the entry way of one and I talk to him he will stop whatever he is doing and he has to run up the tunnel where my head is peeking in and nudge me to get out of his way. I think that is soo funny. I know that is another bad mannered thing. The reason I find it soo funny and cute is because he is so tiny and really cannot harm anyone - and yet he is so brave and feisty. That is why I encourage the behavior and don't mind him behaving like this at all. Sweet little animals cannot harm us so you have to admire their bravery to be so feisty to a human who is bigger and stronger than them.

Not sure if there's an age restriction -- it may depend on the salon you go to. There has been some controversy with younger teenage girls getting Brazilians lately, so it might be best to check -- if you happen to be under the age of 18. Most salons in my area will do Brazilians on teenage girls with parental consent.

I have dark, coarse hair which grows quickly --- my Brazilian lasts about 3-4 weeks.

I'm not going to lie --- it hurts. My suggestion: take 3 Motrin about an hour before you go, and if you're old enough, a glass of wine wouldn't hurt either! The *front* of the pubic bone (aka: pubic symphasis -- the *frontal* part you can see) seems to hurt the worse. The *undercarriage* hurts the least, believe it or not!

For me, the pain is TOTALLY worth it. Clean, clean, CLEAN bikini line that's perfect for summer swimsuits and water sports!

My salon charges $75 for a full Brazilian (front to back and everything in between). I tip my girl 25-30% instead of the usual 20% because she goes the extra mile to make sure all the little *stray* hairs are removed. Plus, it's the kind of thing that's not your *run of the mill* procedure --- KWIM?

There's nothing better than a full Brazillian bikini wax. Smooth, soft, stubble-free.

You should be able to get them at any big sporting goods stores. Some of the smaller stores will have jockstraps, but they don't usually have swimmer style jocks. I like the swimmer style jocks better because i prefer the narrower waistbands they have over the regular jocks.

And yes it's true that a jockstrap doesn't cover your butt. They are designed to give you the most support with the least restriction on your freedom of movement. You don't wear boxers over them. So for running you would wear just the jockstrap under your running shorts. Or right under your track suit, sweat pants, or whatever you are wearing instead of running shorts.

I think it depends on the contents just as much as the shorts.

If a guy is hot, then he'll look better in short running shorts, but if he's not all that hot, then the improvement won't be as much.

Any sled dog owners successfully run trails in hot climates during summer (with coat cut very short/ shaved)?

I live in the metro-Atlanta area and it is hot for a lot of the year. Right now I run irregularly, but I want to run nearly every day and am training for a half marathon. I would love a dog that can run with me- but I have a fascination for sled dogs of all breeds (Samoyeds, Malamutes, Alaskan and Siberian Huskies, etc.). A lot of people dismiss sled dogs due to the heat in the south but what if the dog is shaved down during the warm months? I run trails that are compact dirt and very well shaded around the Chattahoochee river and I would love a sled dog as a companion. I have a German Shepherd/ Husky mix but she is my family dog so I share custody (not to mention she is out of shape due to a hip surgery last year). She gets cut short 2 times a year in the warm months. Are there any sled dog, trail running or distance running, people out there who live in a warm climate and successfully run with their dog? I know about other breeds that run well and have short hair- I've been researching- but I LOVE sled dogs, am willing to groom/ cut hair regularly, and still run in the winter. The dog would also only live inside. We don't believe in tying the dog in the backyard. Success stories please...
I would not SHAVE the dog per se... That is why I wrote shave/ CUT SHORT. I would cut the coat short enough to reduce bulk but not shave. I am aware that double coated dogs need their coats. As is my groomer, who cuts my German Shepherd/ Husky mix's coat. THANKS.

Look it's not advised to run the dogs in the midday sun, however early morning and late evenings when the temperature is cooler, most dogs can run and pull a sledge. I have always used a swamp cooler jacket on my two dogs as it reduces the dogs temperature in hot weather and stops the uv rays of the sun.

Now my two are Alaskan Malamutes and will run all day long, the only thing you need to make sure is that they are regally re hydrated as this can cause heat exhaustion and sunstroke.

As long as you don't take them out in the middle of a heat wave you should be alright to work them. Generally though the best time is during the winter months as they can then run all day and not have to worry about the climate interrupting your fun

& NEVER CUT OR SHAVE THEIR COATS, they have two layers for a reason, summer helps keep them cool & winter helps to insulate to keep them warm. Just use the jacket instead they will love you better for that!

Victoria Secret has "push up" style tops that look wonderful and not fake at all. Check them out. Any swim tops that are triangle or not support are hard to make look right on a smaller female. I have been buying plunge aka puch up tops from VS for years and they look great!!!!! Not padded just a boost

Lonely army soldiers?

What do all the single army guys do about finding women, i know your not supposed to think about that when your serving your country, but 5 years on active duty is a long time. Do soldiers have time to go on dates, and if so, how do they find the women? Im leaving for basic in 3 months, just wondering if i will have go with no sex for 5 yrs., havent really thought about it before but now its beggining to scare me, the no women part, not the getting deployed or possibly getting shot part.

He was on the road to changing his life, I was aware he was selling drugs but the 'pimpin' I thought he was tryna hype his bad boy image up but still took it as his word. Anyway he had enrolled back in skool he dropped out of college as a second semester sophomore) and even got his old job back as a welder after doing a lil networking and praying our lives were changing for the better If it weren't for his untimely death I do believe we could have made it... With enuff prayer and dedicated I truly do believe we could have made it. We had already overcome a lot of obstacle (ppl not accepting our age difference, his drug dealing, both of us were inskool, and we both were working (well he was about to start, I had a job as an Office Asst.) I do believe God Blessed Our love. But disobedience (him still messing with low-class ppl,me not being completely open with him about my feelings) does have it's consequences.

hot stuff, especially hot tea with honey, and some cranberry jam. You should take that during the night, before you will go to sleep. Oh, and when you will be sweating during the night after that, but DON"T take the covers off, you SHOULD roll even tighter in the blankets, because the sweat takes away the sore throat, but if you expose your sweaty self to the cold, your sore throat will get worse.

Nah, bathing in virgin's blood will almost certainly not help you stay looking youthful - Countess Bathory was a bit of a looper in that respect - (but check out the movie 'Bathory' if it ever gets released here, it looks pretty good).

Best beauty ritual I can recommend is to moisturise. Moisturise, moisturise, moisturise and then moisturise some more.

Victoria Secret has "push up" style tops that look wonderful and not fake at all. Check them out. Any swim tops that are triangle or not support are hard to make look right on a smaller female. I have been buying plunge aka puch up tops from VS for years and they look great!!!!! Not padded just a boost

Adding padding to a swimsuit top ?

I just bought a new swimsuit , but I need more in the bust area . the top has a little bit of push-up but I need more , is there anyway I can add padding into the top ? thank you !

Some swimsuits come with light padding built in that is removable. If that is the case, you can buy more inserts to also put in that area since there is already a sewn in "pocket". If your swimsuit doesn't have a pocket, you can try sew-in pads. Braza is a good brand that I know of. All you have to do is stitch them into your swim top. Handsewing is pretty easy to do with these. Try searching Amazon for "sew in swimsuit pads" or somewhere else. You might be able to buy them at lingerie stores too.

I usually try to get a swimsuit with the pockets with removable padding and I put in bigger pads to get a little more lift. Good luck! :)
