Imma G.
Ok so I'm really into the old-timey/vintage style, and I was wondering if there was a place I could find vintage swimsuits for cheaper than they are at unique-vintage.com because those are super expensive.
Please don't say thriftstores because yes, they might have one, but I want to know for a fact where I can get one.
Thanks. :)

Q. Two pieces,if possible.
i'd like one similar to the ones on mybabyjo.com, but for a more reasonable price. i know thrift stores are an option, but i dont plan on that.
with a high waisted bottom,if possible.
yes,i know ebay and thrift shops.
but id like a specific store or website.

I've been looking for an affordable vintage bikini for years. I hate to say it, but after really extensive long-term searching, I haven't found any GOOD new vintage-look swimsuits for less than the $70 price at mybabyjo's. Target always tries to do a few retro styles, but they're poor quality and cut. I also found a couple better quality retro styles at Mervyn's, but most retail stores do not cater to vintage style unless that happens to be a hot trend that season.
If you have to spend less money then you should watch eBay like a hawk! Deadstock (unworn "new" vintage) suits show up sometimes, and can go for very low prices: http://50sclothes.mables.com/Store/vintage-swimsuits
If you can save up and spend a bit more, there is an Etsy seller who will custom make a vintage-look swimsuit to your exact size. Her styles are so cute and the quality is amazing. This will be the most expensive swimsuit I've ever bought (about $100), but I'm saving up for one to wear this summer: http://missbrache.etsy.com/
