spring break already passed for me.


i went to south padre island during the break ('bout 1-2 hrs. from where i live) and partied. it's basically one huuuuuuge non-stop party. kinda like mardi gras, but at the beach. it's actually a pretty famous place to go to during spring break. S.P.I. ranks in the top 5 list of places to party at during spring break.

What are the dates for spring break in Miami?

I was just wondering when abouts spring break was in Miami. I'm hoping to plan another trip there next year and being from the UK don't know what the dates are over there would appreciate it if anyone could let me know

Spring break is a university thing, not a Miami thing.

Each university has their own schedule for when students go out on spring break. For a spring break destination like Miami or Ft. Lauderdale spring breakers are there most of the month of March. Some weeks will be crazier than others. Because Miami is a bit on the expensive side for college students, most go to places like Pensacola of Daytona vs Miami. Point being, I wouldn't worry to much about spring break if your just going to Miami.

The bulk of schools have spring break to coincide with the first round of the NCAA basketball tourney - so the weeks of March 11 and 18 will represent peak craziness for spring breakers.
