whats the hottest you have ever tried
Answer
Pretty much unlimited. . . I've been growing chiles for the past 25 years, and for the past two have grown the Bhut Jolokia (currently rated as the hottest on the planet).
Unless I'm traveling, I eat hot peppers every day. Growing Scotch bonnet, habanero, jolokia, etc., in fairly large quantities, I always have frozen or dried chiles when fresh aren't available.
It's not about who can eat the most hot stuff for me, it's about the health benefits of chiles, garlic, and onions.
As far as the hottest I ever tried, I made a batch of salsa cruda last growing season that contained a dozen Bhut Jolokia, 5# of roasted/smoked tomatillos, 12 cloves of garlic, 2 Maya sweet onions, salt, an lime juice. It's called Emerald Fire, and it defintely fires up the system.
