What is the best massage technique ?

twix

Well there are all kinds of techniques like western and chinese, etc. I want to know your opinions on which one is more soothing and relaxes your muscles. Thank youu =]

Answer
There are many massage techniques, and finding the best technique is usually a matter of personal preference. Common massage techniques include:

â¢Swedish: The most popular and well-known
â¢Deep Tissue: Goes into the deeper muscles that Swedish massage techniques cannot touch. May be a little intense and painful.
â¢Reiki: Energy work; the body is actually not touched. This technique requires training and is not something you can learn from a book.
â¢Acupressure/Acupuncture: An Eastern technique that involves stimulating acupuncture points to bring about change.
â¢Rolfing: Follows the philosophy that poor posture can bring about physical pain. Rolfing corrects the poor posture by working with the connective tissue surrounding muscles.
â¢Sports Massage: Sports massage is similar to Swedish and deep tissue massage techniques, only the emphasis is on preventing injury, promoting healing, relaxation and enhancing energy reserves.
â¢Craniosacral: Craniosacral involves using an extremely limited amounted of pressure on the skull and spinal column to reduce stress and correct any injuries.

If you get massages from a massage professional or you simply want to learn how to massage a loved one, you may be wondering where to learn the best massage techniques.

Shoulder massaging techniques?

Answer
Massage, improves sleep, lowers blood pressure, and rids the body of toxins that it has picked up from pollution and other sources. Massage also improves circulation, relieves muscle spasms, tension and soreness. Massage therapy helps rid the body of excess lactic acid. Even after just one massage, you will feel more relaxed with a general sense of well being. You may notice a significant reduction in neck and shoulder pain, back aches and headaches. When we use our muscles regularly or with exercise, the body makes lactic acid. Excessive lactic acid build-up in the body causes muscle soreness/fatigue. However, these effects are only temporary if you only get a massage once or twice a year. Massage generally falls in the category of preventative medicine. Many clients wait until a problem is somewhat unbearable before they seek help
