What's the deal with swimwear?

A

Women say they think guys who wear swim briefs are showing off too much or wanting to show off their "bulge". But that is exactly what all you women do when you wear a swimsuit==your suits leave nothing to the imagination with boobs only partially covered and the camel toe bulging out from the bikini bottom. So I ask, do you ladies wear these suits to show off your bodies and show off your "bulges" (both the boobs and camel toe) or do you simply wear what you like and find sexy? The same is with men, if a guy wears a swimbrief it does not necessarily mean he is GAY, or trying to show off, he simply might find them sexy and fun to wear, which is why top designers like Gucci make this type of swimwear--they are catering to fashion decerning men. I am just trying to understand how women have a problem with a fit guy wearing a tight swimwear when women themselves strut around with their junk hanging out. Seems rather hypocritical to me.
P.S. I am fit and enjoy wearing designer swim briefs. I also shave my legs, chest, arms and arm pits because I feel having smooth skin is much better, especially when wearing body conscious swimwear.

Answer
I wear what swimsuit I wear because I want to wear it. I also wear what is appropriate for a certain occasion. I might wear a more modest tankini when I am with family, but when I'm with friends I can break out the bikini.

designer swim briefs (like the ones that David Beckham and James Bond wear)?

Hi girls,
I think guys should only wear speedo brand swimwear while engaging in competitive swimming. But I was wondering if girls like a designer brief on a guy at the pool. It seems like sexy (non-speedo) briefs are becoming popular, such as David Beckham being photographed wearing a white swim brief and the new James Bond wearing a blue square-cut brief. So do you girls like a well-toned, non-hairy guy in designer swim briefs that are specifically made for fashion and to be lounging around the pool and not for competitve swimming? I was thinking about purchasing this one brief at Saks by Versace, and it is very clear that the style is not intended for hydro-dynamics but to be fashionable, being made of high quality fabric and being cut more "sexy" than a "speedo" brief. So girls, tell me what you think about these expensive, designer briefs that I see at Saks, Neiman-Marcus, and other high-end stores. Are they hot on the right guy?

Answer
yes. but i think you have to be REALLY hot to pull them off. On many guys a swim brief comes across as disgusting and over the top. but if your up for a challenge and are confident enough to pull them off, then I say go for it!
