Conversation starters at a party?

I'm in college and go to house parties and frat parties on the weekends. I'm a little shy and sometimes have a hard time striking up a conversation with people. Anyone have any ideas?

I have blue eyes brown hair I'm build well besides my stomach I still need to work on that. I am white and I am 15 I'm a freshmen in high school, and I'm on the wrestling varsity team. I'm nice to all women because I've never wanted to put a woman through the same things me and my mom went through, people say I'm funny too. I listen to all types of music from rap to dubstep screamo and classical. So I really just what to know if I'm like ugly or what cause trust me I've been trying to ask girls out but I get turn down so please help
