- Please leave the spelling of Monika as is and don't say you prefer Monica - that's great but the spelling is this way for a reason and it is legit.

Firstly: HAPPY AUSTRALIA DAY! I'm a fellow Aus :) just enjoying my day in the hot Aussie sun.

Okay, this is super hard. Both names are really cute!

Monika -- 7/10
I actually really like this name. It's one that goes in the same category as Jemimah - it's really cute but a little quirky which I generally quite like. I also love the nickname potential for Monika -- Monnie, Nikki (my name!), Nika, Kaka etc. Monika ages really well, is classic and very feminine.

Saskia -- 8/10
I really like this name as well. Again, it's very feminine and ages so well - it sounds sassy and cute on a toddler but also sounds exotic and sophisticated on a young woman. Again the nickname potential is great - Sassy or Kia are both gorgeous nicknames.

So, I'd have to say Saskia but it's definitely a close call.
