Q. I think it's awful. It's a cruel fashion industry. It always bugs me and makes me want to grab a fat unicorn and hit them in the face with it whenever girls say it's their dream and they are f*cking ugly and don't even fit in the right measurements. Don't get me wrong, but i don't believe in that "everyone is beautiful" because if someones ugly, they are ugly. period.

haha well I was like that when I was like 9. I can't really speak for the other girls, but I did it because after being bullied and put down day after day, I wanted to feel beautiful and feel like there was something special about me. I was in it for a little bit. Got casting calls, went to a few photoshoots. And I think it really did increase my confidence. So I don't think it's completely pointless, unless it goes to your head. Which for most people it does. But nobody who called me stuff or beat me up knew about my modeling, because I didn't want them too. I knew I was good enough which is what helped me accept myself for who I am throughout the years. :) So yeah, it's not always awful.

Places like Claire's Boutique, Justice, Target, Wal-mart, Kohl's, the Gap, and many more are always looking for models. Get together a portfolio of modeling pictures from different angles (one straight ahead, one from the left side, one to the right side...etc.) and check websites to see if they're looking for models.
