summer is coming, and I want to look for a swimsuit but the problem is I have big bo.obs a not so flat stomach, and a pretty flat bu.tt my exact measurements are in inches: 24 waist 34 hips 34 bust I like these swimsuits because they offer support my bust and cover up my not so perfectly flat stomach but do I have the right body type?

Just keep in mind that high waist clothing elongates the back unless you have a perky bottom to indicate where the back starts and stops. You don't need to have a big butt but a perky/fit bottom will work. Try batching suits that have ruffles or a ruffle skirt. It will add to your shape.

For inexpensive ones, try: H&M, Forever 21 or Target. For a high quality one, go to: PacSun, Urban Outfitters, Victoria's Secret, or American Apparel. (I was at American Apparel two weeks ago, they had a bunch still)

Your best bet is to go with fuller-coverage bottoms, but without looking like you're wearing your grandmother's undergarments. V-shaped bikini bottoms that are angled up towards your hips go a long way toward slimming your midsection. Look for V-shaped bottoms with sides angled up towards your hips (the most important part!) that are approximately ½ to 1 inch in width.

If you are opting for a one-piece suit, you should select a higher-cut leg. One-pieces that go down and over the lower hip area only magnify those side bulges, and give you the appearance of a rounder midsection. One-piece suits with built-in tummy control panels are great, too. Designers have come a long way in creating panels that are invisible to others, comfortable to wear, and do an excellent job of hour-glassing your figure. Some of the one-piece swimsuits that Victoria's Secret is offering this year are stylish, youthful, and sexy, without showing the skin that you don't want to show."

I've got a tummy, and I usually stick with one piece swim suits or tankinis. But I'm going to Miami the week after New Year's, and I was wondering if I could wear a bikini if the bottom had a high waist. It's almost like a tankini - they both show the same amount of skin....

That swimsuit helps to break up your belly at the largest part, and showing off you belly button makes you look infinitely sexier!

I also think that you might look good with a low-cut bikini bottom. The advantage with showing off as much belly as possible is that it lengthens your torso, making it look slimmer. Just because you have a tummy doesn't mean that you need to hide it. Girls I know with a fat tummy always look better in bikinis than in tankinis or one-piece suits. There's something unattractive about wet fabric clinging to a fat stomach. I hope this helps.
